KINDERGARTEN BRAIN WORKS

e.Merging LLC Educational Consulting offers a hands- on kindergarten readiness curriculum focusing on the ten skills that we believe are critical for kindergarten and beyond. Our early childhood trained experts work with children two times week in the home setting, providing direct interaction with the child and specific directions on how to implement our techniques into the home environment.

Each child receives an individual education curriculum with hand- picked activities relevant to their child’s specific strengths and challenges.  Each session is  45 minutes  with 15 minute parent/teacher dialogue.  (Total 60 minutes)

Each package includes 12 sessions and begins and ends with an informal assessment to assess and measure growth.

ELEMENTARY STUDENT PACKAGE

(For students 1st- 5th Grade)

This package is designed to empower elementary students in their subject area(s) of need. Our Master Level teachers use current, researched-based, curriculum to guide, coach and impart skills to encourage students to be independent and self-advocating.

This package includes:

  • 12 one-on-one sessions.
  • The first session is 1.5 hours to build relationship between your child and the tutor, as well as time to develop an understanding of your child’s abilities and areas of improvement.
  • 2 Sessions per week.
  • Focuses on the area(s) of student’s greatest need(s).
  • Researched reading and math curriculum.
  • Progress Monitoring (DRA Assessment).
  • Weekly Communication between the tutor and the parent(s).
  • Sessions occur in child’s home environment, or agreed upon location.

SECONDARY STUDENT PACKAGE

(For students in 6th-12th grade)This package is designed to guide middle and high school students with the content of literacy and writing. Time will be spent on understanding topics and concepts on a deeper level that  sometimes is not offered in a full-sized classroom.

This package includes:

  • 12 one-on-one sessions
  • The first session is 1.5 hours to build relationship between your child and the tutor, as well as time to develop an understanding of your child’s abilities and areas of improvement.
  • Literacy & Writing are the two primary topics that will be specifically addressed.
  • Executive Functioning – Guidance on organization, note-taking, and study skills.
  • Progress Monitoring.
  • Weekly Communication between the tutor and the parent(s).
  • Sessions occur in child’s home environment, or agreed upon location

TEST PREP PACKAGE:
(Includes Test Prep for the ISEE/SSAT)

For students, taking a school entrance exam can be an overwhelming process. This package is designed to allow students to feel confident on the day of their testing through one-on-one personal tutoring.  A minimum of 5 sessions is offered, but we recommend 10 sessions to optimize the student’s confidence  on the day of the test.
This package includes:

  • 5 one-on-one sessions.  (We recommend 10 sessions to optimize the results)
  • First session is 1.5 hours to create a test prep plan as well as an introduction to the specific test they are taking.
  • Understanding test taking strategies and how the test is designed.
  • Flexible Scheduling Options.
  • The Princeton Review for corresponding test will be used as the guiding curriculum.
  • Progress Monitoring.
  • Weekly Communication between the tutor and the parent(s).
  • Sessions occur in child’s home environment, or agreed upon location.

 

**Full Payment for Tutoring Package is due on the first meeting date. Payment is made to e.Merging LLC.
