What should parents do now? If your child has received a rejection letter you are both likely to be experiencing a range of emotions. Here are some simple suggestions to help you model strong character and lead your child forward with grace.

One of Denver’s best kept secrets just might be the answer. Many area private schools open their summer camp enrollment to non-students. Opportunities include a variety of disciplined enrichment in sports, theater, arts, and academics. Most of the sessions run on a weekly basis allowing parents to schedule camp around family travel vacations.

School expos, carnivals and fundraisers offer a window into how schools functions as a community and are often open to the public. Be respectful of the administration and keep in mind that these celebrations and events are often steeped in deep tradition. This is the this time to observe the community and take note of questions you’d like to ask when the admissions process opens up in the fall.
